Day One: A Little About Myself
My name is Paola, and I will be entering my last year in high school. I am currently here, at the OSU Migrant Leadership Institute Program, because I knew since the moment that my high school councilor told me about the amazing opportunity, I had to come. Becoming a strong leader, one day in life, is a dream of mine. I want to possess all the characteristics that it takes to be an influential leader, and what better what to start than to attend a Migrant Leadership Institute Program.
Day Two: Challenge Course!
The adrenaline rush is like no other! Being on the Zip Line for the first time in my life filled me with a new, never ending energy that I have not explored before. After being on the Zip line, I feel I can face any roller-coaster, obstacle, or any type of challenge course in the world. To me, it was an amazing feeling. Unfortunately, the first challenge course I hopped on to, terrified me to the point where my knees would not stop wobbling. I believe that was mainly because it was the first challenge course I've been on in my whole life. If anything, I regret not having time to be on all the challenge courses.
